Radio Trailer
The following extract is the text I have chosen to be my radio trailer.
'Fashion, a word that creates much interest for some and for others, has no significance. "Its what I do, its my life; my social life surrounds fashion, my professional life is about fashion" (quote from Maria Loney interview).
The stereotypes experienced in fashion are evident in today's society and the emergence of new trends places the concept of fashion at the forefront of discussion for many young people. "The fashion industry plays a big part in the way young people perceive fashion" (quote from Phoebe Callaghan interview). "I think fashion without you having your own character, because I think everyone has their own character and if you're wearing clothes to represent it, that shows who you are" (quote from Monique Davis interview). 'Does society affect the way people dress?' I think it has a big impact on young people especially if they look up to idols and famous people" (quote from Kiera Stone interview). Fashion Tribes airing at 8pm 15th March 2011 on HCTV will explore this concept and find out how important fashion really is to you'.
