First Draft Of Newspaper Advertisement
I chose this design as a basis for my newspaper advertisement to create an emphasis on how large the impact of the fashion industry is and has on everyone including the younger generation. This advertisement is depicting a young girl in high heels expressing the influence the huge industry continues to distribute through magazines, models etc. I mostly used the colours black and white to associate with the saying that some people do not consider specific points in their beliefs and see a subject as either 'right' or 'wrong','good' or 'bad'. Some people hold strong views on fashion and sometimes there is no 'inbetween' (grey matter). This also links to the sterotyping applied to certain groups of individuals who choose to follow specific fashion trends. The black and white concept can be associated with the labelling of these groups e.g. Goths, Emos, Punks.
